Bio:
Sky Zito is a performer, composer and educator. He studied at the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts where he received personal letters of recommendation from multiple faculty members. He also studied with world-renown vocal coach Mark Baxler whose students include Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. Sky has performed throughout the US in a wide range of venues, situations, and instrumentations from solo acoustic to full-scale rock shows.
Zito has worked as a studio musician in Boston, Los Angeles, and Austin with local and national acts. His original compositions have led to the release of four full-length solo albums and publishing deals with both Crater Rock Records and Rear Wheel Drive Productions. He has written and recorded multiple songs with world-renowned supergroup Cruel Juno which features members of Angra, Doro, Kamelot, and more.
Over the past twenty years Sky has shared his knowledge through guitar, bass, drum, and voice lessons as well as band-coaching, recording and production at his studio, Zito Productions.
Sky is currently performing solo and with the Sky Zito Band, as well as giving private music lessons in the Austin area.
